Ingleby Gallery

We were asked to design a symbol for an art gallery in Edinburgh which features Scottish modern artists. By applying the same approach as used in modern art, a potentially difficult graphic problem was solved at the first stage of the communication process; how to find the gallery. Locating the gallery on a map of Edinburgh, we noticed that the city’s main roads form the unique shape of a dog.
